Alvin L.

Alvin L.

Alvin L. started as a vocalist at the Rapazes de Vida Fácil in the early '80s. In the late '80s, he formed the Brasil Palace, in which he experimented with a pop/rock/bossa nova mix. Also a member of the Sex Beatles, L recorded two albums with them. But he is known especially for his work as a composer, having had his songs recorded by Marina Lima ("Não Sei Dançar," "Deve Ser Assim," "Na Minha Mão," "Stromboli," among others), Capital Inicial ("Todos os Lados," with Dinho Ouro Preto/Bozo Barreti/Marcelo Susskind), Leila Pinheiro, Belô Velloso ("Menos Carnaval"), Toni Platão ("Tudo que Vai," with Platão/Dado Villa-Lobos), and Ana Carolina ("Perder Tempo Com Você"). His first solo album was released in 1997. ~ Alvaro Neder
