The classical music traditions of India are fused with a variety of modern influences by Chicago-based multi-instrumentalist
Anand Bhatt. Having earned a reputation as a jazz sitar player,
Bhatt has branched out to an ever-growing variety of modern electric music. He plays hardcore tribal music with
Anand Clique, aggressive industrial music with Project 44, and improvisational music in the duo A&A, which he shares with
Anand Clique guitarist Ryba. Other collaborations include working with
Faith No More guitarist Jim Marshall, one of his early influences. ~ Craig Harris
