Aneta moved to Krakow at age 19 to attend drama school, eventually turning her studies toward journalism. After relocating to Germany in 2012,
Aneta began pursuing a performance career and was accepted as a competitor on the 11th season of the RTL Television vocal competition show Germany Sucht den Superstar. Upon taking first place on the show with over 50 percent of the audience vote,
Aneta released her debut single, "The One," which quickly reached the top of the charts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In 2014, she followed up by releasing her debut full-length album, also titled
