Anna Lacazio

Anna Lacazio

A co-founder of the group Cock Robin in the early '80s, Anna LaCazio remained with them through three albums and toured with, among others, Bryan Adams, the Bangles, and James Taylor. Unfortunately, aside from Europe, Cock Robin never became worldly famous and the group dissolved in 1990. While her former colleague Peter Kingsbery's entry into solo work was almost instantaneous (he debuted in 1991), LaCazio disappeared without trace, singing occasional backup for artists from Corey Hart to Purple Mountain Matinee and on Kingsbery's 1997 release Pretty Ballerina, reinterpreting one of their Cock Robin moments, "More Than Willing." LaCazio relocated from L.A. to the California desert, where she also performs as part of Ra Sol. ~ Kelvin Hayes
