The punk trio
Another Joe has been brandishing their own raucous thrash since 1995 when frontman/guitarist Jon Glen, bassist Alison Toews, and drummer John Rylance formed in their native Vancouver. In 1996,
Another Joe released their first album Pee Against the Wind, followed by their joint 1997 CD with
Gob entitled Ass Seen on TV. Toward the latter part of the '90s
Another Joe was making headlines across Canada, touring with bands such as
No Use for a Name, Chixdiggit,
SNFU,
Diesel Boy, and High Standard. They released Cran-Doodle Daddy in 1998 and followed up a year later with
Plasti-scene. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
