Known as a R&B and Hip Hop producer, Asaiah goes in a more experimental direction for his solo career. His new musical direction is best described as "Afrochill".

Asaiah insists that unlike most producers turned DJs, he is a musician first and foremost. His Live set/performance consists of him playing keyboards and other live instruments as well as providing the lead vocals from time to time.
“I didn’t start music in studios … I started with singing in a choir at my local church. I was missing badly the live experience, connecting with an audience! I wanted to go back to that! And Most of all, I want to deliver a message.”
