Bad Cop is a punky indie rock band out of Nashville, Tennessee. Influenced by
the Germs and
Nirvana, frontman Adam Moult started writing the group's material at age 15, during the short periods that he was allowed to play guitar while attending boarding school. Soon after completing the program, he formed
Bad Cop with his friend Alex Hartness on guitar, and then added bassist Mike Frazier and drummer Kevin Kilpatrick to the fold. Based on the merits of demo tapes, iconic hardcore label ROIR signed
Bad Cop in 2010 and released the band's debut album,
Harvest the Beast, that year.
The Light On EP followed in 2013, and was released on
Bad Cop's privately run indie label, Jeffery Drag. ~ Jason Lymangrover
