Country singer
Brad Martin grew up in the suburbs of Ohio with a healthy dose of
Merle Haggard and
Conway Twitty. His love for country music encouraged him to start playing guitar as a young kid. By his mid-twenties, he was a songwriter and moved to Nashville to follow his dream. Epic Records snatched him up in the new millennium and
Martin made his proper debut with
Wings of a Honky Tonk Angel in June 2002. He later joined fellow singer and songwriter John Ramey in the duo
Martin Ramey, who would record for Curb Records.
