Native to Jersey City, NJ, Ruben D Sosa jr professionally known as @Citoonthebeat began his musical journey at a very young age. His father, a musical director of a local church nurtured Cito's interest in music. He learned to play the drums at the age of 8. After graduating high school in 2007 he opened his first recording studio, where he taught himself how to produce and record. Since then, Cito has produced and recorded for various artist such as YG, TyDollaSign, Tory Lanez, Rich the Kid, Kevin Gates, Cardi B and many others.
