Formerly known as Cleen, the industrial dance project
Cleaner is built from the aesthetics of the German electro-pop band
Haujobb. After a slew of releases under the
Haujobb moniker, Cleen was composed of Daniel Meyer, Thorsten Meier, and Forma Tadre's Andreas Meyer.
Cleaner came into form after Thorsten Meier left Cleen due to personality conflicts between he and Daniel Meyer.
Solaris, which marked the first project since
Meier's departure, was released in Metropolis in spring 2000. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
