Following a year-long hiatus while lead singer Max Reichert underwent treatment for osteosarcoma, Ohio native band Clubhouse make their return with single “Lucky Soul.” The track reflects on feelings of lost companionship, highlighting the emotional struggle between a sad truth and the always-cherished memories of the past. With a fresh outlook on life, the six-member group is eager to reach new and larger audiences around the globe. Since the formation of Clubhouse in 2015, the band has amassed over 2 million streams on Spotify alone. Clubhouse’s captivating live shows have earned them supporting slots for acts such as HAIM, Foals, and Young the Giant. “Lucky Soul” follows the release of single “Just Us,” a collaboration with Los Angeles artist Dreamsuite, released in November 2018. In a unique blend of lush synths and dreamy pop vocals, Clubhouse’s new single serves up a new, fresh, and unique sound.
