When he was just 3 years old, his father put a PlaySkool keyboard in front of him and he quickly caught on. It was at that time his parents instantly knew music would play a major role in his life.
Even through poverty and adversity, Curt stayed devoted to being one of the best musicians the city had seen from his hard work and dedication. Saturating the Dallas music scene with the “Curt McGurt” signature sound, artists from all over wanted to catch his wave.
