Curtis Day

Curtis Day had few plans to become a professional musician before succumbing to his grandmother's pleas for him to form a band. Although, he dreamed of becoming a football player and studied computer technology, grandma proved to be right. With the release of Day's self-titled debut album, in January 1996, comparisons were immediately made to similar-voiced, Kentucky-born, country singer, John Michael Montgomery. Shortly after the album's release, Day embarked on a nineteen city Dancing In The Dirt Tour, during which he mostly performed shows on the World's Toughest Rodeo circuit. ~ Craig Harris
