Cyd Ward

Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, singer/songwriter Cyd Ward tried her hand at numerous genres before landing at folk music. Spending her early years in this exploratory period, it led to a smooth mixture of the various sounds when she started playing the guitar in the late 90's. Heavy on harmony parts and comfortable with pensive, intimate songs, she began playing around Florida upon moving to the area and eventually built her name in the area. Winning several songwriting contests along the way, she eventually committed her music to record, releasing Between the Lines in 2002. © Bradley Torreano /TiVo
