D.P.G.

Previously known as Tha Dogg Pound, D.P.G. (short for Dogg Pound Gangstaz) are the G'd-up duo of Kurupt and Daz. Pioneers of modern-day Gangsta Rap, these two veterans first appeared on The Chronic and Doggystyle before releasing their first group album, Dogg Food, and embarking on successful solo careers. Both also went on to start their own labels: Kurupt's Antra and Daz's D.P.G. Recordz. In early 2001 they teamed up for the excellent (but slept-on) LP, Dillinger & Young Gotti.
