Doug Sure

British singer-songwriter Doug Sure from South-East London started performing when living in Sydney, Australia in 2010. He then took his uniquely rich acoustic tone back home, to be heard at events including the All Blacks welcome ceremony for the 2015 Rugby Union World Cup.
A break from music ended with a collaboration with brother rapper Gee Bag on a track called Dog House. Doug appeared on the 2020 series of TV talent show The Voice UK on Will I Am’s team where he secured the public lifeline vote to ensure a place in the semi final post-lockdown.
His influences pull from blues to reggae to folk and R&B; these combine with a love of hip hop to add dynamism, emotion and intensity to vocals. Covers and original work to come.
