Electromagnets

As Eric Johnson's first band in the mid '70s, the Electromagnets now stand out above many other more established fusion bands as a hindsight oddity. The beginnings of Johnson's pentatonic, lightning fast and painstakingly toned guitar playing are in place, paving the way for his success in the '80s and '90s. The other musicians are experts as well, building climaxes with Psychedelic keyboards and Billy Cobham-esque virtuoso drumming.
