Chris Fonye, famously known as 'Hydraulix Fonye' is a Ghanaian record producer, audio engineer, artiste, songwriter and visual artist. Born on December 23, 1994 in Accra, Ghana. Hydraulix Fonye is also a verified BMI composer/author (Broadcast Music Inc., USA) and signed under Sheer Music Publishing (SA). His work catalog is packed with most of the top stars in the West African music industry including Reggie Rockstone, Stonebwoy, Donzy, Kwesi Arthur, Coded4x4 etc. Fonye has 8 years of experience in Sound engineering and Music production. Before He became a full time record producer and engineer, He worked as an Oaths Public Administrator for 6 years. He possess additional skills in video editing, graphic design & online marketing. He owns a music distribution, marketing and publishing company called Hydraulix Music Group. He has carved a niche for himself with his dynamic beats fused with Hip-Hop, Electronic and High Life. Fonye has written songs for countless artists in the West African music industry. His record label currently has two artistes under its belt; afro-pop singer/songwriter - Steph OJ; and hip hop artiste - Jwusu. Fonye, the music scientist, as others call him, still works as a producer/mixing & mastering engineer for artistes and labels all around the world.
