Frownland

Psychedelic country rockers Frownland formed around guitarist Kurt Eizner, who had previously played in the 90's dream pop group Mazzy Star. Also featuring drummer Pam Barger, bassist Sean Wheatley, guitarist Paul Hutzler and vocalist Patrice, the band called Seattle its home. Honing their playing skills in the area for a period, they recorded Positively Frown Street in the spring of 2002 and released it that summer. © Bradley Torreano /TiVo
