Larson co-wrote several of the group's hit songs, including "26 Miles (Santa Catalina)," "Big Man," and "Down by the Station." In the 1960s, Larson began a highly successful run as a TV producer. He was involved with shows such as The Fugitive, The Six Million Dollar Man, Battlestar Galactica, Magnum, P.I., Knightrider, and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.
