Henry Bloomfield’s genre-defying musicality and creativity have been shaped by diverse musical experiences around the world. In Seoul, South Korea, he became the first westerner to have his/her music and music videos released by Stone Music Entertainment (formerly CJ E&M), one of Korea’s largest Kpop and entertainment companies. After relocating to New York City, he then traveled to Cape Town to shoot a modern day silent film, “They Say It’s Wonderful,” which he scored, produced, arranged, and starred in. The dark-funk, musical odyssey features a combination of original soundtrack compositions and drastically reimagined interpretations of classic showtunes from the Golden Age of Broadway.
