Honne

The creative hub of East London seems to produce an endless and diverse supply of urban music. This time around we've set our ears to Honne, a duo that merges 1960s soul and 1980s synth into a romantic and danceable kind of electro-soul-pop. After signing with Super Recordings in 2014, the same label that launched AlunaGeorge and Bondax, Honne moved onto their own imprint, Tatemae, where they released the Coastal Love EP earlier in 2015. Now they're out with yet another seductive and somewhat funkier piece of work, entitled Over Lover EP, which is sure to take their growing hype and fan base even further.
