Inouk

This indie rock five-piece formed in Philly and features two brothers and three -- count 'em -- guitarists. The group was born under some strange astrological sign; their influences pair Brian Eno with the Everly Brothers, the Byrds with Pere Ubu. But the weirdness works: 2004's No Danger was a continual, welcome surprise, mixing jagged vocals with angular rock and unexpected moments of textural beauty.
