Ivon's R&B makes ample use of the ever popular hip-hop/Soul formula, taking beats that once only starred in rap songs and casting them in roles played beneath his vocals. The style won't win any awards for originality, but it might just be a magnet for R&B radio DJs. Plus, there's something to be said for a man whose none-too-subtle pleadings for lovin' (see: "Have You Ever Been Freaked B4" and "Pretty Panties") can make R. Kelly sound prudish.
