Jadestone

The Florida trio Jadestone (the current lineup consists of Yves [bass/vocals], Gary [guitar], and Steve [drums]) first got together in 1997, playing the local club scene on a regular basis. Specializing in a hard-edged pop sound (à la Fastball and Matchbox Twenty), the group has issued three albums since their formation -- This Is America, Transmission, and And Then There Were Two. The group has fared extremely well in music contests, winning the Bandemonium 2000 competition -- which led to opening a show for Marcy Playground.
