Jeffrey Williams

Jeffery Lamar Williams is an American rap performer who goes by the name Young Thug. Born in Atlanta, Georgia he began making mixtapes in 2013 and released the single 'Stoner' that was remixed by several other artists. His debut album 'Barter 6' (2015) went to number five on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, 'Slime Season 3' (2016) reached number three, 'Beautiful Thugger Girls' (2017) peaked at number four and 'Super Slimey' (2017) topped the chart. His biggest single hits have been tracks on which he was featured with other artists including Camila Cabello on 'Havana' (2018) which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, with Rich Gang and Rich Homie Quan on 'Lifestyle' (2014) which peaked at number four on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart, with Usher on 'No Limit' (2016) which peaked at number nine on the R&B/Hip-Hop Chart, with rapper T.I. on 'About the Money' (2014) and with Rae Sremmurd and Nicki Minaj on 'Throw Sum Mo' (2015) which both reached number 12 on that chart. © ©Copyright Music Story 2020
