Aspiring Euro Trance-master is well on his way to assuming the much sought-after life of a globe-trotting DJ with his Paul van Dyk-endorsed sound. Picked up by Deviant Records, the label that has released much of the German sensation's tracks, Jimpy plans to attack Progressive House/Trance followers with a host of commercially approved grooves. Other projects in motion: a spot on Sasha's Global Underground Ibiza mix. Adopting John Digweed's harder treatment of beats and applying it to Sasha's mind-expanding synthscapes, this U.K.-based Catapult Records buyer and veteran DJ gets set to pull in Ibizan crowds with his own name during summers to come.
