John Arpin was a Canadian pianist who was most readily associated with Ragtime music. Arpin's recordings on the Pro Arte label of composers such as Scott Joplin and Joseph Lamb were highly popular in the early CD era. Later recordings may be found on the Scroll and Shellwood labels.
