Forged in the same steamy crucible that spat out DJ Krust and Roni Size, V Recordings' Kamanchi carries a torch for the somber side of Jungle. Building barren, ominous landscapes out of hopeless samples and obtuse, nauseated bass, these tracks buckle under the weight of their own seriousness.
