Kari Gaffney

Gaffney can handle countrified ez listening, but her gliding vocal style matches the blues and jazz tracks. The same can be said for the band; they lay out on some by-the-book Smooth Jazz, but really come alive backing Gaffney on a simmering blues ballad. A busy live act, Gaffney and company have opened shows for James Brown and Lou Rawls.
