Producer
Lewis OfMan channels the classic French sound pioneered by the likes of
Cerrone,
Daft Punk, and
Cassius, harnessing the chic sound of disco, pop, and French house as heard on his 2021 EP
Dance Party.
Born and raised in France,
Lewis OfMan (aka Lewis Delhomme) grew up playing drums, guitar, and keys, playing in his first band at age 12. Buying his first keyboard just a year later, Delhomme started to develop his own style, inspired by the classic sound of French pop. A self-released EP, Disconsolate, appeared in 2014, before he focused on full-time production, delivering the Yo Bene EP two years later. While working on his second EP, Delhomme also remixed the likes of
Alt-J and
Keziah Jones, and had production credits on
Rejjie Snow's 2017
Dear Annie. That year saw him support
Snow on his North American tour, and on dates across France. In 2018, he issued a handful of tracks and EPs, including "Je pense à toi." With his production style much sought after, Delhomme worked with the likes of
Vendredi Sur Mer and rapper
Emile. 2020 saw him return to his own solo work, issuing a string of tracks including a remix of
Rhye's "Beautiful" before releasing the
Dance Party EP at the beginning of 2021. ~ Rich Wilson
