New York-based experimentalist trio Liminal deftly combines dark atmospherics with crisp hip-hop beats and plenty of jazz influences, resulting in a wildly diverse grab bag of languid yet dense sound. Even if you don't smoke, it almost seems appropriate to light one up while listening to Liminal.
