In an era of reality TV and overnight stardom, up-and-coming artist Mal!k’s “humanness” sets him apart from the sea of young singers that inundate pop culture. His view of being “disposable”, after being shot at the age of 16 in his hometown of Philadelphia, has transformed into his drive to share his story, support his loved ones, and make a lasting impact with his music now. Mal!k’s unique vocal ability and musicality channels his musical inspirations Whitney Houston, John Legend, and Jazmyn Sullivan while maintaining a contemporary style that puts him on par with contemporaries Jon Bellion, Miguel, and Khelani. Having shared a stage with Michelle Williams and Tasha Cobbs, performed for major network televised events, and acquired extensive vocal, instrumental, and dance training, Mal!k is currently working on his debut solo EP with producer Keath Lowry, to be released late 2018.
