Marc Desse

Marc Desse

It was through the United States that Marc Desse, parisian singer-songwriter, appeared on radar in 2012 with the single "Video Club" released on the San Diego based label "Bleeding Gold Records". The great melodies of the potential hit, which saw the beginning of the collaboration with the drummer David Graw based in Detroit, won the support of critics and Marc Desse performed on stage in Paris and around France opening acts for artists such as R. Stevie Moore, Temples, Etienne Daho, Feu! Chatterton... His first album "Nuit noire", released in June 2014 on the label Bordeaux Rock, is a nocturnal and urban journey which has been able to fully digest its influences, between French texts, electricity and pop immediacy. Marc Desse knew how to find a language and an imagination which belong to him, at the same time completely contemporary and without concession. In 2015 Marc Desse takes part in the campaign which illustrates the collection "Paris Sessions" of Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane alongside other French artists and released the sensual and dream pop single "Griffith Park". In 2018, Marc Desse took part in the Yves Simon's tribute album Génération(s) Eperdue(s) with a cover of the song "Petite fille, p'tite misère". These days he is preparing the release of his new album produced with multi-instrumentalist Gaël Etienne that includes the songs "On s'aime", "Les étoiles" and "Paris je t'aime" already available!
