Melding the R&B sounds of groups like Jodeci and New Edition with beats from 21st century hip-hop, Oklahoma's Meant2B met in 2000 at a University of Central Oklahoma house party. Members Dele Olasiji, Tre' McCoy, and Eric "Ezo" Hollowell set out working local radio stations and opening for artists like Snoop Dogg and Sean Kingston when they played Oklahoma. In 2010 they broke nationally with the "Drinks on Me" single featuring Baby Bash, then in 2013 they dropped the single "Sexy Independent" with guest Sha Sha Jones.
