Meat Katie

South London's Meat Katie (real name Mark Pember) has been forging a career in the music industry since the late 1980s. He initially played in punk bands, but has since become one of the world's best-known breakbeat DJs and producers. His first big success came in 1998 when he put out the widely acclaimed debut album Off the Bone. He was again making waves in 2001 with such popular releases as the Long to Belong album, and the Strange Fruit 12". ~ David Peter Wesolowski
