Modulo

Modulo is a Neo 8-bit project by Jared Nutt. By day he writes code as a software engineer. By night, he writes music using code via Sonic Pi. The result is synthesized electronica that could be found in any video game in the early years. Heavily inspired by meganeko, Boucle Infinie and Ludwig Goransson. The music is written in story arcs. This is largely driven by his love of concept albums, like Leviathan by Mastodon. Space EP (2020) This serves as the first adventure into musical story-telling. It aims to convey the feeling of floating across the expanse of space. Dungeon (2020 - 2021) This arc follows our heroine, Marceline, as she enters the depths of an old castle in search of ancient treasure.
