The alternative rock band "Monkey Tank" formed back in 2012, in the Lithuanian capital city of Vilnius. The rock trio that is now known as "Monkey Tank" was formed from three guys who previously played very different music ranging from Blues Rock to Metal. Having more than 10 years of music experience amongst them, they were far from being new to the music scene in Lithuania. The main vision of the newly found band was to create something new and different, something that would give a fresh perspective on rock music in Lithuania. The product of that vision is a mash-up of different music styles from 90's rock vibes to grunge to modern rock and even disco beats, all of which are spun and woven into the solid fabric of Music. Fueled by a constant motion and both progressive and creative attitude the trio is determined to create a unique sound that would reach as many ears and hearts as possible. The band has been well received by the alternative scene and the fans over the few years. The bands Debut song "HOME" has been broadcast over multiple Radio Stations in Lithuania. Back in 2013 the band entered the contest for the most perspective new bands called "Garažas" ("The Garage") and reached the finals where they received a lot of attention an praise from the jury of professionals. The same year "Monkey Tank" played more than 30 concerts including major local festivals "Loftas Fest" and "Vilnius Music Week" thus being credited as one of the most perspective modern rock acts in Lithuania. In April 2014 the band released their debut album "Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice" which was presented to the public in the tour spanning Lithuania's biggest cities including Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda, Šiauliai and Alytus. Following the successful tour the band launched their first official music video for the song "The Playground" which received positive feedback from the community of fans. At the start of May 2014 the band filmed and published a video from the "Liverpool" bar opening concert and presented their new song "Red Giant". The video was meant to show the energy and feel that is happening on stage during the performance. This was the first video shot in such a way, officially published in Lithuania.
