Queens, New York native Matthew Raymond Guzmán, better known by his stage name MRG, is a Dominican-American hip hop recording artist. His heritage and New York roots inspire his unique musical style and razor sharp lyrics. Counting Kanye West, Nas, and Daddy Yankee among his musical influences, MRG has been rhyming in both English and Spanish since 2014, bridging different languages and cultures. Recently signed to Westvilla Music, MRG’s debut single “Bet” received praise from industry critics for its “confident, melodic delivery.” MRG's debut album “Live From The Hurst” is set to release in Fall 2017.
