Murals

Formed nearly 10 years ago while its three members were still in high school, Murals are by no means a new band. A self-released 2012 EP aside, the forthcoming 'Violent City Lantern' marks their debut full-length effort. After some winding detours, Muralsare now back home in Louisville, Kentucky, writing, playing, recording and living together in a far from swanky part of town where acid trips and all day jam sessions go hand in hand. From their down home base they churn out psychedelic folk and hazy rock, or as Stereogum described their recent single "I Live Here" A lush, ambling pastoral that basically sounds like sunlight refracting through a woodland stream.
