News, styled usually as NEWS, are a J-pop band formed in Tokyo in 2003 by singers including the current lineup of Shiheaki Kato, Keiichiro Koyama, Takahisa Masuda and Yuya Tegoshi. Former vocalists include Takahiro Moriuchi, Hiroki Uchi, Hironiru Kusano, Ryo Nishikido and Tomohisa Yamashita. All 30 of their singles have topped Japan's Oricon singles chart from 'News Nippon' in 2003 to 'Happy Birthday' (2008), 'World Quest' (2012), 'Touch' (2016) and 'Love Story' (2019). All ten of their albums have reached number one on Japan's Oricon albums chart from 'Touch' in 2005 to 'Color' (2008), 'White' (2015), 'Epcotia' (2018) and 'Worldista' (2019). © ©Copyright Music Story 2020
