Honing his dark style over the years, Las Vegas rapper
Ouija Macc found a home with the Juggalo family in the late 2010s. After signing with the
Clowns, he issued his first solo full-length with Psychopathic Records, 2018's
Gutterwater. In the years that followed,
Macc released a flood of efforts, including collaborations with Starfoxlaflare and
Baby E.
Delivering eerie trap inspired by
Insane Clown Posse and
DJ Paul of
Three 6 Mafia,
Macc had a difficult childhood and struggled with mental health issues, finding solace at school in art and music. Surrounded by drugs and street violence, the rapper moved to New York City, where he was briefly a member of the duo Swag Toof, issuing a handful of releases into 2017. That year,
Macc signed with Psychopathic Records, joining
ICP's extended family. He collaborated with labelmates
ICP,
Big Hoodoo, and Lyte before making his solo debut. His first release for the label,
Gutterwater, arrived in May 2018 and featured appearances by
ICP ("Diamonds") and Lyte ("Future Wicced"). Waterdamage landed the same year.
Macc maintained a prolific schedule into the new decade, releasing Resistance: The Walk to Wasteland, the Starfoxlaflare collaboration Irregular, Resistance 2: Hell's Holotape, Pretty Ugly, Zodiac, and Wasteland by 2020. In 2021, he teamed with
Baby E for We Never Forget, and issued his own DIRTBAG and Pretty Ugly 2. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
