Shazar's music ranges from dreamy, folksy ballads to sharp pop tunes that display an ironic take on the blues. She is an intelligent, oftentimes painfully honest lyricist: "I could talk but boys with one thought seldom spoke / Lookin' cheap was the goal but I was a joke." A talented singer-songwriter who deserves hits aplenty.
