Prism Quartet

Versatility is the name of the game for this skilled saxophone quartet. In addition to rearranging jazz, Ragtime and classical pieces, they tackle works written specifically for saxophone quartet (by composers ranging from avant-gardist John Cage to bebopper Phil Woods) and also write many of their own. They know how to shift gears from classical precision to jazz spontaneity, as their members have backgrounds in both fields.
