Virginia native Rakeeb Wize, a father and Recording Artist currently residing in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, developed the interest of music at the age of 12 years old. Later on, manifesting an interest to study traditional Hip hop and the art of emceeing between the ages of 15 and 16 years old.

Broadening his musical horizons by listening to genres like R&B, Soul, Rock, Alternative and a variety of foreign genres, this allows Rakeeb to be a layered artist. Compounding that with what he’s learned from studying the careers, artistic journeys, creative processes of the most innovative and successful artists to date, Wize continues to elevate as a recording artist.
