RobnHood Tra delivers uncompromising yet energetic verses about the realities of street life. The Georgia native first made a national impact with his 2019 single "Thirty8."
Tra grew up in an underprivileged area south of Atlanta. He was forced to take care of his siblings due to an absent father and an alcoholic mother, and was involved with illegal activities at a young age. He served an eight-month jail term, during which his father passed away. During their final conversation, Tra's father told him to become a rapper so that he wouldn't return to the streets. Choosing the name Robnhood Tra, signifying his aim to give back to the community, he made his debut with Exit 66, a 2018 mixtape filled with stark reflections about his experiences. In 2019, Tra signed to Warner Bros. and released his single "Thirty8," which received positive notice from several websites. ~ Paul Simpson
