Roleplay

Swedish born, UK based artist and producer Roleplay (Anna Haara Kristoferson) is a multi-instrumentalist who spent her childhood in choir academies. Roleplay is Haara Kristoferson’s first solo project outside of her ventures as lead vocalist in Yassassin and LUST. Her first release, a disco-esque cover of ‘Jingle Bells’ (2020), was mixed by James Greenwood (Ghost Culture, Daniel Avery, Kelly Lee Owens, Falle Nioke). In her infectious electronica dream-pop, Roleplay uses shimmering harmonies, playful percussion and jangling guitars as the trembled funk of her bass lines invites everyone to get down and groovy like there's no tomorrow. It has been said that her songs like getting stuck in their listeners’ heads, with or without their permission. Roleplay’s debut EP is expected in 2021.
