Russ, also known as Russ Splash, is a British drill rapper from Lewisham, London, born to Caribbean parents. He began making Facebook videos in 2016, including the 'Splash Out' series of songs and 'Boom Flick'. In 2018 he released the single 'Gun Lean', taking drill into the UK charts. The shoulder-shuffling dance that he performed on the video became a UK craze and was emulated by Manchester United footballer Jesse Lingard in a goal celebration.His 2019 single 'Mr Sheeen' featured Digga D. In the summer of 2019 he collaborated with Tion Wayne on the single 'Keisha & Becky'. ©Copyright Music Story 2020
