Scott Maddox

Scott Maddox

Scott Maddox is a recording artist, producer and sound engineer originally from Georgia. Since his first dabblings in singing and songwriting in Atlanta in the mid-80's, Maddox has appeared as the face of numerous musical constellations, notably as the guitar-toting front man of self-titled group Scott Maddox, which was based in Copenhagen, Denmark and also featured drummer Helge Haahr, bassist Kristian Slot and lead guitarist Fluffy Yeast Adventure.

Chiseling out a charismatic cross between feel-good rock n' roll and downright heinousness with glances at pop culture, Maddox's debut album 'King Size Red' dropped in 1995 (Instant/Polygram), sandwiched by EPs 'King Size Slim' and 'King Size Blue', fueling tours across Scandinavia, Europe and USA and back-to-back performances at Roskilde Festival in 1995 and 1996, with singles like "Woo Lordy" and "She Wood" getting heavy airplay across Danish and American radio.
