Sidibe

Sidibe is an independent singer/songwriter with roots in Senegal and Louisiana. Her musical doppelgänger and creative partner is Finnish producer Nico Stadi. For her forthcoming EP You Got the Luck, Sidibe and Nico Stadi brought in Grammy award winning producers Warryn Campbell and Jack Splash along with a group of gifted musicians who donated their talents on the guitar, bass, flute, sax and strings. She brings a sound that is reminiscent of our favorite classics, but with a fresh and modern production. Lush harmonies, melodies and lyrics are effortlessly delivered by this five octave vocalist and self-professed romantic. Euphoric is the word that comes to mind. In preparation for the May 10th release of her You Got the Luck EP, Sidibe has dropped two singles. On April 11, one of her singles "I'm Only Dreaming" was selected by Prince as the Purple Pick of the Week.
